The materials used in each creation are very diverse, just like the “basuraleza” I collect along our coastline. That’s why every piece is unique and unrepeatable, like every drop of water in the vast blue sea. BIO epoxy resin allows me to encapsulate all kinds of materials — from fishing gear, ghost nets, plastics, microplastics, fishing line, tar, glass, and an endless amount of marine litter you wouldn’t even imagine.
Some of the processes I carry out in the workshop include: Plogging – Selecting – Recycling – Rinsing – Sorting – Transforming – Shipping. Every step I take to reach the final result is designed to create the smallest possible impact on our planet. A Plastic-Free packaging made with algae-based paper; and I always avoid the use of single-use plastics, replacing them with silicone containers that allow me to reuse them over and over again.
