About Epoxidonia
María Cerezo · ReciclArte con Resina
I am María Cerezo and through my RecyclArt with Resin project I want to show you what damages our seas and oceans
Something beautiful can also be born. During my PloggingRRevolution days, both in and out of the water, I collect remnants of marine litter that I transform into unique eco-jewelry, capable of holding a little piece of the sea in every detail and conveying a very important message.
The sea is my passion and my endless inspiration; calm or stormy, it always reminds me of its beauty… and fragility. With each creation, I seek to give voice to the problems that threaten it: plastic and microplastic pollution, spills, wastewater, overfishing, loss of seagrass meadows, whale strandings… And all of this is happening right here, in our beloved Mediterranean Sea.
Each piece is more than a jewel: it's a message, a way to protect and remind us that the sea unites us. And as the great biologist and marine
scientist Sylvia Earle said, "Without Blue, There Is No Green."
TRANSFORMAR-CREAR-PROTEGER
Each piece is art… and action for the Mediterranean. Show off the sea, support its conservation.
NUESTRA MISIÓN:
Sustainable Process
Each piece goes through a process designed to minimize environmental impact:
1. Plogging y recogida de residuos.
2. Selección, reciclado y limpieza.
3. Clasificación y transformación en arte.
4. Preparation and shipping with plastic-free packaging.
From the 100% recycled and recyclable bags I use for my plogging trips, to local suppliers who follow circular economy principles, everything is designed to continue caring for and protecting our planet. Even some of the packaging, like the business cards, is made from paper recovered from the wings of a Venetian lagoon, always avoiding single-use plastics and using reusable silicone containers. Each Epoxidonia piece of jewelry is a small gesture that unites creativity, sustainability, and a love for the sea.
